Due to recent senior departures and organisational gaps managing current live operations is covered, however there is a shortfall of capacity to maintain the pace of transformation, continuous improvement and expansion of the function.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Guiding the transformation of the Live Services function
* Continuous improvement of Live Services delivery
* Driving organisational effectiveness
* Advice, support and coaching to acting Director of Live Services personally.
*Strong leadership qualities.
*Extensive experience of sourcing and managing DDaT services and of working with 3rd party suppliers
*Extensive experience of mobilising, leading and reviewing large-scale transformation initiatives
*Explicit experience in developing Services Integration and Management functions
*An instinctive eye towards the economics of technology solutions and experience of P&L management.
*Good understanding of how to design effective MI, customised for different audiences
*A good understanding of Operational Risk within IT
*Very strong communication skills
*Experience being in a senior role in a Live Service Organisation.

*Experience of working in public sector in the last 5 years.
*Experience of working in a disaggregated environment.
