Senior Application Support Analyst required to technically lead a strong team for a market leading investment management client based in central London. You will be providing technical supervision of a large team responsible for supporting a broad range of vendor and internally developed bespoke applications. You will have strong attention to detail and be able to resolve difficult problems with in depth investigation. You will be a natural leader and a great communicator although this is not a management role, rather an escalation point on technical issues. You will be technically very strong be able to direct colleagues in all tech aspects. You should be someone who likes to get into the detail and get involved in all parts of application - infrastructure/software/hardware etc.
You will need to understand the sense of urgency working in a financial services organisation can require and you will need to react quickly to issues and keep things running smoothly.
Ideally you will be someone who is keen to drive forward automation and be innovative in recommending improvements to business processes and technologies.

Your New Role:

Your new role
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and your main responsibilities will be resolving support issues for various systems supported by Application Support. You will be responsible for user admin within all applications ensuring relevant sign-off is attained by relevant parties. You will also be responsible for the support queue via Service Now adhering to internal SLA's and ITIL framework.
