Job description

Role:

You will be required to develop and produce dashboards and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery in line with BI and Business requirements.

You will be assigned to working on HR related data such as:

·         Attrition

·         Holiday

·         Absence

·         New starters

·         Leavers

·         Etc

Some of these requests will be ad-hoc', so being adaptable is a must. As the BI Analyst, you will be responsible for the constant seeking of methods to improve reporting and visualisations as you see fit.

You will provide insightful analysis, helping to identify patterns and trends where necessary, adding commentary as required, enabling the business to make robust decisions.

It will be expected in this position you will pick up and develop your skill set, with the opportunity to utilise a number of different tools and technologies, essential for a BI Analyst.

Job description

Responsibilities:

·         Install, configure, maintain and optimise the performance of core applications.

·         Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems relating to core applications in accordance with agreed service level targets.

·         Liaise with internal and external service providers in order to resolve incidents and problems.

As the successful candidate you will need a wide range of technical experience and be confident picking up and delivering on new projects and technologies.

To be considered for the role the BI Analyst will need to be able to demonstrate or have the following experience:
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics
Highly confident in SQL
Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, and Qlikview

Have the ability to learn new tools and assimilated knowledge quickly 

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if the BI Analyst has experience with ETL tools, and has worked with cloud-based database technologies such as Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift.
