The successful candidate will work with other developers in the IT team where you will design and implement new systems for use by staff, customers and suppliers. As Software Developer, you will join a growing team where you will design and implement new systems for use by many staff, customers and suppliers.

Working as part of a small team, you will be developing and maintaining Front End and Back End software features for the company's products/appliances in line with product development roadmap as defined by the Head of Engineering and guided by the
Software Development Team Leader.

With support, you will be expected to set up your own machine and development environments, and be expected to quickly get up
to speed and hit the ground running. You will be expected to work in an Agile (SCRUM) development environment.

Responsibilities:

Specification, design, development and maintenance of advanced user facing features and Back End APIs for complex Real Time and systems.
Database design in collaboration with other team members.
Conducting code reviews as per the company standards.
Active participation in the team's Agile (SCRUM) development process and other company-wide processes.
Engage in effective collaboration among geographically distributed team members.

Required Skills:

Description

The Global Connectivity Service team has a portfolio of Non-Standard Service Requests (NSSRs) which are effectively small, short term, fixed price projects that provide a reliable and expanding revenue stream for the Global Connectivity account. There are currently over 200 requests on the team task list that need to be delivered and it is expected that a further 60 requests shall be received each month.

This role is required to support the production of Impact Assessments, the production of network designs/network configurations and providing technical guidance to implementation engineers.

IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong Cisco and Microsoft Server 2012 / Microsoft Server 2016 infrastructure experience is required by a leading company based in North London. Key experience & skills required:

Within this topology the candidate should be able to identify and articulate a mechanism to manipulate routing to prevent asymmetric routing between ASs, while maintaining the benefits of a dynamic routing protocol.

Multicast

Experience of deploying and troubleshooting complex multicast domains utilizing multiple PIM domains, connected together using MSDP. The candidate should be able to utilize his experience to enhance the current low-level designs, where appropriate.

QOS

Experience of deploying and troubleshooting QOS models across multiple LAN platforms. Good knowledge of DSCP, COS, Classification & Marking, Congestion management (LLQ etc..), congestion avoidance (WRED etc..).

Security

Experience of deploying and troubleshooting Cisco ASA Firewalls in multi-context mode, and cluster mode. The candidate should be able to articulate how the cluster operates, how the traffic flows through the cluster, and how to troubleshoot this deployment model.
