Job description

We're looking for a talented Technical Project Manager who is passionate about Computing platforms. 

Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced industrial and Embedded computing platforms. Committed to innovative engineering, they offer integrated solutions, hardware and services for premier OEM/ODMs and system integrators worldwide.

Reporting to the European Technical Director, the candidate will be responsible for the technical project management and support for all the ODM Key Accounts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-year experience in technical project management in an electronic B2B market. He/She has proven problem-solving experience, is proactive, customer oriented, patient, capable to work in multicultural environment. He/She is a geek, loves computer electronics and all the new technologies. 

Reasonabilities:

  • Technical support and project management for TIER 1 Accounts
  • "Trait-d'union" between the customer and Taiwan R&D and Product Division for TIER 1 Accounts
  • Responsible of defining demo for TIER 1 Account and to support FAE for demo creating for local events
  • Support European Product Manager in defining technical request for new and existing product for specific customers/market
  • Coordinator of the European technical resources necessary to support the projects
  • Provide all the necessary support to Product Division and local Key Account Manager to create technical project proposal
  • Create all the necessary technical documentation required by TIER 1 Accounts
  • Build Of Material/Cost Analysis and feasibility study

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directing projects involving extensive Software Engineering Development
  • Serving as the primary contact for the customer
  • Managing, overseeing, monitoring and approving all elements of assigned projects from inception to completion
  • Reviewing and approving technical approach, feasibility and cost estimates
  • Planning and managing resource availability for projects including engineering, manpower, production, computer support or installation facilities

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will need to possess a degree or equivalent in an Engineering or other technical discipline, Prince 2 qualification, strong experience of full life cycle Project Management, experience of managing, building and motivating teams, good experience of Project Management tools including scheduling, spreadsheets and presentations.

In addition, any previous experience of multi-tiered Software or Engineering Development projects would be highly desirable.

Job description

Based in Birmingham, the experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) consultant is required to support JELD-WEN's European ERP implementation. This is a pivotal role within the team, with the successful candidate spear-heading the technical aspect of the project and delivering the European roll-out of the system.

Key responsibilities for the SAP FICO Consultant:

  • Leading the finance function through the implementation of SAP and replacement of their Legacy ERP/Finance systems
  • Developing a global ERP finance system design plan and configuring solutions to enable strategic objective
  • Leading the ERP Finance execution globally, to include other integrations to other modules
  • Developing European deployment model for Organisational Change Management (OCM) structure, process and tools
  • Project management skills to successfully manage the budget, spend, schedule and quality delivery

Key requirements for the SAP FICO Consultant:

  • At least 15 years' experience in Global/European SAP ERP Finance implementations along with full life cycle SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) implementation experience
  • Manufacturing experience ESSENTIAL
  • Must have dealt with costing and full SAP roll out
  • Extensive experience in SAP FICO modules, with hands-on configuration experience in most Financial Accounting and Controlling modules
  • Proven experience in an ERP leadership role with a demonstrable track record of delivering functional and technical guidance over the whole project life cycle
