Job description

A leading and entrepreneurial Hotel in Central London, are looking for an IT Manager to manage the on site infrastructure and hotel systems on a daily basis and lead on IT projects where applicable. The hotel is a dynamic and vibrant environment based in the heart of London, and is looking for a communicative, technically strong and knowledgeable IT professional to join the team.

It is ESSENTIAL to have a strong knowledge of Hotel Systems such as Micros, Fidelio and/or Opera. This is integral to the daily running of the hotel's systems. You will be the main point of contact for all IT queries and the main driver of IT strategy, reporting directly to the Financial Director and Hotel Manager, and advising on all things IT with the support of a remote team of engineers.

Essential:

-Knowledge of Hotel Systems (Micros, Opera, etc...)

-Strong technical skill set (Windows, Servers, Networking, etc...)

-Strong communication skills

Management of project(s) up to £5m within the constraints set out by the business. Ensure that assigned project(s) produce the required outcomes in accordance with time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefit/performance goals in the life cycle from bid preparation through to acceptance. Marcus Donald People are currently recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer for an MSP based in Cockfosters, as a Senior Network Engineer you will design, implement, support, and manage complex data networks for the Group and its clients.

As a core member of the team, this role is responsible for delivering first class network support and development to ensure that the network is operational at all times. The post will include acting as the technical expert on full life cycle projects from inception to implementation as well as design, development and support for all systems and upgrades. The post is a 3rd Level Technical Project and Support role requiring strong network skills.

Requirements:

A Senior Network Engineer will also be expected to have knowledge and experience in the following areas, all of which will be required for this role:

  • Previous work experience with either an MSP or ISP
