Job description

The Test Environment Leader will be responsible for the effective management of various Test Environments. This role will play a key part in delivering and implementing the Environment Strategy, maintaining software portfolio and ensuring environments are fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience in a multi platform environment
  • Proven leadership experience of managing and supporting teams
  • Full understanding of software life cycle
  • Able to establish effective working relationships with all levels of stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers Experience of test environment support
  • Strong technical knowledge of Mainframe, Unix, Windows, WAS, Oracle and MQ Platforms

ITIL experience is highly desirable as well as

  • Process Improvement and Lean experience
  • Working with 3rd party testing providers (onshore or offshore)
  • Financial services experience

Duties to include

Responsibilities

·         Interaction with Quants, Development and infrastructure

·         Management of parts of projects to ensure deliverables including documentation

Requirements

·         3-8 years IT Business Analysis in Front Office environments with knowledge of Derivative products

·         Model validation experience

·         Experience of full trade life cycle

·         Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge

·         ETRM system knowledge (Endur, Murex, Sophis, Allegro preferred)

·         Commodity experience -Gas, Precious metals - Preferred

 

·         Financial regulations - Mifid, Dodd Frank – Preferred.

Job Discription :

You will be leading and managing teams of developers, testers and business analysts within a agile/scrum environment. You will work with the enterprise architect team to ensure implementations are in line with the agreed principles and design, delivering code into test and production environments.

Is this you?

Are you a mixture of delivery lead and scrum master? The roles requires attributes from both skill sets, this is due to being responsible for the day to day running of the team and ensuring the team is delivering on time, removing any blockers. You will manage the work backlog and ensure sprints are executed in a controlled way ie planning, ceremonies etc. Reviewing technical/design documentation and providing feedback to the team will be required.

In a perfect world you will have:

Worked with a large transactional system, these systems could be in financial services, banking. telecomms, airlines, retail, gaming and betting sectors. Any experience with Java, web or Oracle technologies would be a benefit.

Job description

PROJECT MANAGER - c£50K to £53K - London- required strong in management of designated technology focussed project(s) and work packages all within a Prince 2 environment to work for my leading higher education research focused institute and part of the Russell Group of Universities.
You will be working on a diverse range of projects as the main point of contact for project delivery. The projects may be process/organisational development oriented and/or technology solution implementation oriented delivered within a complex environment.

PROJECT DELIVERY-
*Planning and management of key project activities and resources across specific phases or groups of phases of the project life cycle, within budget and to agreed timeframes and quality standards.
