An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Business Test Manager to join our client; a leading Custody Bank based in the London, on a contract basis. The Business Test Manager will be working with internal and external stakeholders to identify business issues and priorities and relate these to test project delivery. 

Job Purpose

The objective of the role will be to work within the testing team, supporting the BAT Test Programme Manager to deliver reliable, innovative and effective testing activities to ensure the business needs on time, budget and quality are met across the Transformation and Small Change portfolios.

This role will include the line management and development of Test Leads, Test Analysts and SME's.

Areas of responsibility

  • 1: 1 leadership and development of direct reports (including mentoring and coaching)
  • Idefines strategy/approach for high/medium complexity projects and strategic deliveries
  • work with PM's to provide testing input into project schedules (scope, test estimates and approach)
  • interpretation of specifications and requirements to plan and execute robust test cases and coverage
  • overall responsibility at project level for the delivery of all stages of testing through to end of warranty for high/medium complexity projects
  • business resource identification & co-ordination throughout project

Essential experience

The Test Manager will be responsible for Xerox Service Validation & Testing performed during the transition and during the term of Client contracts spanning Managed Print Services, and production print centres. The Xerox Account Test Manager function will also provide support for Clients and3rdparty testing resources.

The Test Manager will also provide "Subject Matter Expert" guidance to programme

Main purpose:
